BandEve Clarke
Eve is our resident merch-slinger and singer. She performs both jobs with aplomb. Thus far, she has only slung merchandise at her bandmates, but we hope to expand our client base in the next few months. She lives with her husband and two dogs in scenic Marysville, a town named after either Mary J. Blige or the Blessed Virgin Mary. Eve is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, despite being born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She also writes all the lyrics for the band. Eve's hidden talent is so secret that we can't reveal it online. Renata van Diest
Renata plays guitar and keys. Her keyboard is probably the most cumbersome instrument in the band. It takes two people to carry it out of the house and into her car, and we don't let her forget it. She moonlights as a software engineer, and her fingers are nimble on both the keyboard and fretboard. When she's not playing guitar, she can be found snowboarding and drinking Coke. The latter activity contributes to Renata's hidden talent: marathon burping. We are currently writing a song in which this hidden talent comprises most of the rhythm section. Kinnie Moen
Kinnie is the only band member native to Seattle. She began drumming in 11th grade and hasn't put down the sticks since (except in the shower). Kinnie will try everything once; she is a jack of all trades (master of none). She and Renata once took a Very Beginning Ballet for Adults class, but they ended up playing hooky and eating at the Pita Pit. Kinnie gained five pounds, but her French vocabulary has widened to include words like "ronde d' jamb" and "croissant." Kinnie's hidden talent is standardized test-taking, which sadly does not contribute much to Starshifter's catalog.
